Viva Vita is a start-up I built in 2017 for The George Washington New Venture Competition. The business model I crafted, which included thorough market research, new customer insights, and a creative go-forward strategy, empowered me to advance to the semi-finalist round of the competition. In 2018, I had the opportunity to work with the owner of the local DMV start-up Profs & Pints. The creator of Profs & Pints had an innovative idea for a social venture but was seeking help to understand and formulate more effective business development strategies. I worked as a consultant for Profs & Pints to provide the founder with a better understanding of fundamental start-up growth patterns and best practices. I then coupled these fundamentals with unique insights I had gathered in the process of customer discovery and validation and provided the founder of the start-up with actionable next steps for the short, mid, and long-term.
